Speaking on a televised interview on TRT, the Turkish President said that Greece, which was uncomfortable by Turkey’s activities in the region, should know its place.

“Otherwise Turkey will take action accordingly,” he warned.

Turkish President Erdoğan said that the picture in the Eastern Mediterranean was clear as was Turkey’s areas of jurisdiction.   “Smart people can understand that Turkey will not give any concessions on this issue. We have three drillships and two seismic research vessels. They will continue to work in our allocated areas. We have sent one to the Black Sea. Some are very disturbed by this and come to the area fully prepared. If anyone takes any wrong steps then we shall give the necessary retaliation,” Erdoğan said, calling on Greece to come to its senses.

Touching upon the issue of mosques being attacked and vandalised in South Cyprus, the Turkish President warned that there will be consequences if these attacks continue.
