Hasipoğlu: We want to be in government strongly

Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu, Secretary General of the National Unity Party (UBP), participated in a program broadcast on Genç TV screens and made statements regarding the agenda.

Hasipoğlu evaluated the resignation of the government and said, “It is the right decision taken by the Prime Minister. Now there was a blocked process... UBP acted with the awareness that it was in the minority government. The opposition parties that criticize us today did not want to wear this fiery shirt. UBP wore the shirt of fire... We had to establish a minority government. UBP has never escaped government. I think this process is well managed. It is not easy to reset the pandemic, but we are used to living with it.”

Touching on the failure to achieve the quorum in the Assembly, Hasipoğlu blamed the opposition and said, "If you do not approve the opening of the Assembly, this government will resign."

Stating that the country will no longer walk with coalitions, Hasipoğlu emphasized that the UBP wants to be in power alone and strongly.

He also stated that no new decision has been taken in the UBP Party Assembly regarding the early election date.
