The cost of living in February was paid today

Finance Minister Dursun Oğuz announced that the February part of the Cost of Living allowance, which covers the months of January-February-March, which was frozen due to the coronavirus epidemic, was paid today.

Minister Oğuz, in his statement on the subject, stated that the six-month increase in Cost of Living by 10.65 percent covering the period of July-December 2020 could not be paid due to the epidemic, due to the absence of a quarterly (January-February-March) reflection on salaries, and as a result of the efforts initiated in this direction, 10.65 percent in January. He said that the payment of the Cost of Living allowance was made on October 5, and the 10.65 percent Cost of Living allowance for February was made today.

Minister of Finance Dursun Oğuz said, "The part of 25,064,552.68 TL belonging to February of the Cost of Life allowance covering the months of January-February-March, which was frozen due to the Covid-19 pandemic, was paid today."
