Erhürman: Fuel hike will be reflected in the prices of many goods and services

Tufan Erhürman, Chairman of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP), criticized the fuel hike with a post on his social media account.

"WE WILL TALK ABOUT MEASURES TO PROTECT THE PURCHASE POWER OF OUR PEOPLE"

Pointing out that the purchasing power of the people is less than yesterday, Erhürman said, "Our expenses are determined by foreign currency, but our income is TL. And we will not talk about the measures to protect the purchasing power of our people under these conditions?! We will!" said.

"The increase in fuel exceeding 1 TL. The government's price stability fund management consumed all the intervention instruments during the year. Foreign exchange is one of the determining factors. Moreover, this increase will also be reflected in the prices of many goods and services.

Our purchasing power is even less today than it was yesterday. Our expenses are determined by foreign currency, but our income is TL. And we will not talk about the measures to protect the purchasing power of our people under these conditions, right? We will talk!”
