Fikri Ataoğlu: As DP, we do not shy away from responsibility
In his statement after meeting with President Ersin Tatar, DP Chairman Fikri Ataoğlu said that a five-party consensus government should be formed.

In this context, Tatar met with Democratic Party (DP) Chairman Fikri Ataoğlu. Ataoğlu was accompanied by DP deputies Hasan Tosunoğlu and Serhat Akpınar.
Ataoğlu made a statement after the meeting and emphasized that the government should be formed quickly.
Stating that they will not escape responsibility as the DP, Ataoğlu drew attention to the statement he made yesterday evening and reiterated that a five-party consensus government should be established.
Ataoğlu said, “Tomorrow, after meeting with the UBP and CTP, our President will assign any political party he deems appropriate to form the government. Hopefully, this government will be formed quickly in this process where our people are expecting, and we will have the chance to present more positive alternatives to the people."
