Fikri Ataoğlu: In my opinion, no one should mention the early elections
DP Chairman, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu stated that they had a phone conversation with UBP Deputy and Minister of Interior Ünal Üstel, who was assigned to form the government. Evaluating the early elections being on the agenda, Ataoğlu said, "In my opinion, no one should mention the early elections."

Ataoğlu said that they had a phone conversation with the National Unity Party (UBP) Deputy and Minister of Interior Ünal Üstel, who was tasked with forming the government, and said, "We wished him luck... He mentioned that he will start his contacts tomorrow after he gets authorization from the Party Assembly."
Ataoğlu also stated that they had meetings with some UBP deputies during the day and said, "They talked about the meeting of the PM tomorrow and that an authorization will be given."
Noting that they will receive authorization from the party's authorized organs if a meeting is requested within the scope of the government formation efforts, Ataoğlu also emphasized that the studies continue to develop the 100-day action program.

Ataoğlu said, “In my opinion, no one should voice the early elections... The people are now waiting for action from us. It is not right for us to call elections and go to elections during this period. “What can we do together” should be the responsibility of 50 deputies, our concern should be the country,” he said.
