The developments in the political arena after the UBP-DP-YDP government established under the Prime Ministership of National Unity Party (UBP) Deputy Ünal Üstel are being evaluated.

Speaking to Kıbrıs Postası, Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (KTEZO) General Coordinator Hürrem Tulga said "the question is what we will do" and made the following assessment:

"Really, we are in 2022, is it? The period that can be counted as a state is after 74... A 48-year adventure of democracy and it has now come to an end. It will reveal the will, democracy, decision maker, economy, trust and the option of 'starting again' depending on these. There is no courage either. This courage must be demonstrated...

We have a very rotten past... We didn't come here all of a sudden. This is the point where administrative structures that do not do their job will come. We stopped directing, we just demanded. There is no capacity left. Both self-confidence and confidence are gone. We are faced with the question of what to do. Everyone with a conscience... We have such a responsibility towards the country, our environment, and children."
