Finance Minister Sunat Atun gave information on the TRNC-Turkiye 2022 Economic and Financial protocol during a speech he delivered at the general assembly of the parliament on Tuesday.
Minister Atun said the agreement signed between the two countries was aimed at increasing the welfare of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Noting that protocols between the TRNC and Turkiye have been signed for many years, he said that it was natural to have certain conditions when funds were being used.
Atun also referred to the importance of increasing revenues and keeping expenses under control.
