Üstel addresses parliament

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel addressed the opposition party MPs during his speech at the general assembly of the parliament on Tuesday.

“Let’s open a new page and rebuild our country in unity and solidarity. Let’s do this together. Our people expect work and performance from us. We are ready to work with you on every platform” Prime Minister Üstel said.

Noting that the National Unity Party took on responsibility during a difficult time, he said the government will make necessary reforms and continue to work towards providing the people a more prosperous life.

Responding to criticisms on the financial protocol signed with Turkiye, the Premier said that the people were misinformed about the protocol adding that the protocol was aimed to enhance the health system and highways infrastructure.

Stating that the parliamentary committees will continue to work during the summer, Üstel said both the country and the people have no time to lose.
