Some roads will be closed to traffic tomorrow due to the ceremony rehearsal

In the written statement made by the Police Press Officer, it was noted that starting from 07.00 tomorrow in Nicosia, the route between the Alpet-Altınbaş Petrol Traffic Lights junction and the Gönyeli Circle will be closed to traffic until the end of the ceremony rehearsal.

In the statement, the traffic flow at the specified dates and times was determined as follows:

“For drivers who want to go to the Organized Industrial Zone, the traffic will be controlled from the road junction in front of Altınbaş Petrol Station and the Prison junction."

For drivers who come from Famagusta and want to go to the Near East University Hospital, transportation will be provided from the road junction in front of Altınbaş Petrol Station, to the Industrial Zone, and from there on the Near East Boulevard, by following the secondary road to the north of Atatürk Sports Hall.

For drivers coming from Famagusta and going towards Nicosia city center, traffic turns left from Hamitköy Circle and crosses Mimar Mehmet Vahip Caddesi and Şht. Take İsmail Beyoğlu Street or turn left at Honda Traffic lights and turn left at Şht. Turn left at Mustafa Ahmet Ruso Street or Altınbaş Petrol Traffic Lights junction and take the road through Kemal Aksay Street.

For drivers coming from Famagusta and heading towards Güzelyurt, transportation will be provided via the Gönyeli Çemberi route via the Nicosia Northern Ring Road or the Metehan-Alayköy Ring Road from the Citroen Traffic Lights junction on Nicosia Mehmet Akif Street.

For drivers coming from Güzelyurt direction and heading towards Nicosia, traffic will be on the Alayköy-Metehan Ring Road or Gönyeli Circle and Dr. It will be given over the route of Burhan Nalbantoğlu Street (State Hospital).

Transportation for drivers coming from Kyrenia and heading towards Nicosia; Continuing through the Nicosia Organized Industrial Zone using the Boğazköy-Dikmen road, over the Altınbaş Traffic Lights junction or for the drivers using the Kyrenia-Nicosia Main Road, Dr. It will be provided on the route of Burhan Nalbantoğlu Street (State Hospital)"

In the statement, drivers were asked not to park their vehicles on the specified roads, and also to obey the traffic signs and markers, in order not to interfere with the traffic flow at the specified dates and times.
