The Cyprus Meteorological Service issued a yellow warning for extremely high temperatures on Thursday. The warning is valid from 11:00 to 17:00.
The highest temperature is expected to reach about 40 degrees Celsius in the interior and about 32 degrees in the high mountain regions. In the related statement, it is stated that some health risks due to high temperatures are on the agenda for vulnerable groups such as the elderly and children.
