S. Denktaş-R. Denktaş to represent TRNC at Hun-Turkic Peoples’ Kurultaj
Serdar Denktaş and his son Rauf Denktaş have been invited to attend the 8th Hun-Turkic Peoples’ Kurultaj (Council) as delegates representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
The council meeting which hosts representatives of Turkic states from all across the world will take place in the city of Bugac in Hungary from August 12-14.
The TRNC will be represented by the head of the Board of Trustees of the Denktaş Foundation Serdar Denktaş and the head of the Board of Trustees of the Rauf Denktaş University.
The event which is organised by the Hungarian Turan Foundation will be hosting the Deputy Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament Lezsak Sandor this year.
The TRNC delegates will also be paying a visit to the Hungarian Parliament on August 11.
