Alithia newspaper wrote that the amount of counterfeit money found in 2022 increased by 113.7 percent compared to the year before.
According to the news, it was stated that the most counterfeit money was detected in 10 Euro banknotes in Southern Cyprus, while 451 counterfeit Euro banknotes were seized in 2022.
