Bengihan: Trade Unions To Launch Protest Process Next Week
KTAMS President Güven Bengihan has announced that trade unions have decided to launch a series of protest actions next week in response to government policies.
In a written statement, Bengihan said unions are concerned about what they described as the government’s pricing policies, appointments made through the “three-decree system,” legislative work aimed at reintroducing the consultancy system, and attempts to privatise strategic state assets.
He said the decision was taken at a joint meeting held today, adding that unions are closely monitoring recent developments and will begin an “action process” as of next week.
