UBP 22nd Ordinary General Assembly will be held on Saturday and Sunday

The 22nd Ordinary General Assembly of the National Unity Party (UBP) will be held on Saturday and Sunday.

The congress, in which 4 candidates will compete, will start at 09:00 on Saturday, October 30th and will be completed on Sunday, October 31st after the vote count.

16 thousand 484 members of UBP will be able to vote at the congress that will take place in Nicosia Atatürk Indoor Sports Hall. About a thousand new members in the congress will not be able to vote because it has not been 6 months since their membership.

Ersan Saner, Hasan Taçoy, Faiz Sucuoğlu and Zorlu Töre applied for the chairmanship during the candidacy application period, which was completed a month ago according to the UBP Regulation.

At the convention, the voting process is expected to start at 12:00 on Saturday and finish at 19:00 on Sunday.

The congress, which will start with the quorum polling done by the secretary general, will continue with the formation of the presidential council, a moment of silence, and the singing of the National Anthem.

The speech of UBP Chairman Ersan Saner will be completed with the reading of the messages, the opening program of the congress, which will continue with the speech of the guests, the activity report, the presentation of the financial report, the speech of the chairman candidates and the elections will begin.

In the congress, the election of the general chairman, the election of the party council membership, the election of the high disciplinary board and the supervisory board will be held.
