In a written statement from the Rebirth Party (YDP), it was argued that "the government both violated the election bans while determining the minimum wage and announced the minimum wage with a populist approach without listening to the voice of the employers' union."

In the statement made by the party, "The announcement of the new minimum wage as 7 thousand gross and 6 thousand 90 TL net is an election investment of the government. Despite this, the 40 percent increase in the minimum wage will be insufficient since the purchasing power of the country has not increased and the market has not become cheaper. It should be known that by 2022 The year will be a year that will surpass even 2021 in terms of economy," it said.

In the statement of YDP, "On the other hand, employers who will have difficulty in paying even this amount will resort to laying off workers in order to return their jobs, and thus the employment problem will gradually increase. On the one hand, the government has made a monthly total of 10.5 million liras for the Social Insurance and Provident Fund in order to alleviate the burden of the minimum wage on the employer. "We should increase the contribution margin and extend it over a longer period of time. On the other hand, we should increase the purchasing power of our people by rapidly taking measures to cheapen the market."
