The President of the Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists Association (KTEB) Umut Öksüz, in his social media post, criticized the fact that there is a budget of 586 million TL for the TRNC Assembly and the Presidency, and that drugs are not brought to Oncology patients, Thalassemia patients, MS patients, ALS patients, saying that there is no budget.

Öksüz also stated in his sharing that he transferred only 136 million TL to the Medicines and Pharmacy Department for the hospitals that were tendered and half-finished, without allocating a budget for schools, to purchase medicines and to meet the needs of the hospitals, and that many medical consumables in hospitals were paid out of their own pockets by doctors.
