According to the information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), at 03.07, an earthquake of 6.4 magnitude was recorded in the Mediterranean Sea, off the southwest of Cyprus. The American Geological Survey announced the magnitude of the earthquake as 6.6.

It was determined that the epicenter of the earthquake at a depth of 5.06 kilometers below the sea surface was approximately 134 kilometers from the Anamur district of Mersin.

In the social media, it was recorded that the earthquake was felt in Antalya, Mersin, Hatay, Adana, Isparta, Burdur and Konya, especially on the island of Cyprus.
