Kubilay Özkıraç, Chairman of the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority Employees Union (El-Sen), said in a statement, "First of all, the electricity of the Ministry of Finance, which owes 152 million TL to the institution, the Foundations Administration and BRTK, which has a large amount of debt, will be cut."

Kubilay Özkıraç stated that the employees of the institution, who gave a voice to every problem of the society, still take responsibility for what is wanted to be done today.

Özkıraç claimed that the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Corporation (Kıb-Tek), which will receive approximately 900 million TL from the state and state-affiliated institutions, is trying to be dragged into the swamp by the state's failure to pay its debts and its constant borrowing.

“WE ARE WARNING THE GOVERNMENT TO BE FORM FOR THE LAST TIME”

Özkıraç said, "The devoted employees of this institution and their organized union, El-Sen, will do their best to take out the debt of the state to its own people," and stated that they warned the new government for the last time, and said, "If this callousness continues, all kinds of problems will arise, as in the past. We will not hesitate to take action,” he said.
