Protected bee bird under treatment
Fractures and parasites were found in the bee bird, which has been under protection in Cyprus since 2003, by the experts of Taşkent Nature Park. Taşkent Nature Park experts called for support while treating the bird.
The bee bird, which was delivered to Taşkent Nature Park experts in an injured state, was treated at the Wildlife Hospital. In the Bee Bird, which has been under protection in Cyprus since 2003, a possible fracture in the left clavicle was found by the experts of the Taşkent Nature Park and parasites were found on it.
Taşkent Nature Park experts, who took the bird under observation and treatment for its continuation of its migration journey, pointed out that thousands of migratory birds pass through Cyprus in spring and autumn and only a few pairs nest on our island each year. Authorities also called for support from citizens.
