Buran states that the cool and humid air mass coming from the north is expected to be effective until the end of May; He said that the highest air temperature is expected to be 30 degrees in the interior and 25 degrees or below on the beaches, and intermittent showers are expected.
Stating that the summer will be hot and quite dry as usual, Buran noted that the air temperature in June, July and August will be around the seasonal normals or half to one degree above. Buran reminded that one of the regions most affected by climate change and global warming is the Mediterranean Basin, which includes Cyprus.
Buran also announced that dust transport will continue at intervals throughout May.
