TR. VP Oktay congratulates PM Ünal Üstel
Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay spoke via telephone with Prime Minister Ünal Üstel after the National Unity Party (UBP) – Democrat Party (DP) – Rebirth Party (YDP) coalition government received a vote of confidence at parliament and congratulated him.

During their talk the Turkish Vice President reiterated that as it were in the past Turkiye will continue to stand by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and the Turkish Cypriots today.
Oktay also stated that Turkiye supports peace, brotherhood, prosperity and stability in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel for his part stated that he wanted to visit Turkiye as soon as possible.
Noting that they would be pleased to host Üstel in Ankara, Oktay wished success to the new coalition government.
