Hasan Taçoy: When EU says it is norm, when Turkey says it they say demand

Minister of Labor and Social Security Hasan Taçoy participated in the program "This is Important", which was broadcast on BRT screens and prepared and presented by Levent Kutay.

Taçoy stated that it is natural to criticize the work that is intended to be done for the state and said, "Some circles are making propaganda on lies."

Pointing to the 2022 Economic and Financial Cooperation Agreement signed with the Republic of Turkey, Taçoy said, “When the EU says it, they say it's norm, when Turkey says it, they say demand. In the protocols signed with Turkey, Turkey writes what we want. The retirement age would be 65. Retirement will be taxed. For now there is no such thing. Let me tell you frankly, I think it should be," he said.

NEW LETTER OF ANASTASIADIS

Pointing out that a new situation is emerging over the economic problems in the country, Taçoy stated that the period just before the Annan Plan is being prepared.

Taçoy noted that before the elections in Turkey, a new plan for Cyprus started to be prepared with international work, and that it is necessary to read Anastasiades' new letter and some negotiations over this letter.
