Töre speaks on Children’s Day

Parliamentary Speaker Zorlu Töre attended events organised at the Zümrütköy and Alayköy Primary Schools in line with the 1^st of June International Children’s Day.

Speaking during the event Töre called on all students to walk on the path drawn by the great Turkish leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, to further develop themselves and to protect the Republic.

He stated that Atatürk was a guide to the Turkish Nation and said, “The path you will walk should be the path drawn by him.”

Touching on the importance of the state, Töre noted that the struggles of their leaders should never be forgotten.

During the event at the Alayköy Primary School posters with the poem “I have two flags”, which the late Founding President Rauf Raif Denktaş often sang, were presented to the students by the Parliamentary Speaker Töre.
