Inflation in Istanbul is at the highest level in the last 24 years
The rise in Istanbul's inflation continued in July as well. The highest inflation level has been recorded in Istanbul since 1998.
Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) published the retail and wholesale price indices for July.
The retail price index published by ITO increased by 99.11 percent on an annual basis in July. Thus, the annual change in this index reached its highest level since February 1998. The monthly change was recorded as 4.09 percent.
