Prime Minister Ünal Üstel has said that ongoing infrastructure projects, such as upgrading the country’s road network, will continue until the end of 2023.

Üstel paid visits to the villages of Karaağaç, Esentepe and Bahçeli in the Girne area today.

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel told reporters during his inspections and visits in the area that road works carried out within the framework of the protocol signed with Türkiye would continue until the end of next year with necessary improvements made to major roads.

He also said that the government was seeking ways to complete the construction of a sports hall in Esentepe.

Üstel added that he will be continuing with his contacts in the area, informing citizens and residents of the government’s plans.
