An indictment demanding a prison sentence of up to 3 years was prepared for the singer Gülşen.

An indictment was filed against the singer Gülşen, demanding a prison sentence of 1 year to 3 years, on charges of "inciting the public to hatred and enmity or humiliating" because of her words towards imam-hatip high school students at her concert.

In the 48-page indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Press Crimes Investigation Bureau, there were 702 complainants, including the Women and Democracy Foundation (KADEM).

In the indictment, which also includes the defense of Gülşen Bayraktar Çolakoğlu, it is requested that the suspect be sentenced to 1 to 3 years in prison for "inciting the public to hatred and hostility or humiliating".

The indictment, which was sent to the Istanbul Criminal Court of First Instance, is in the evaluation phase.
