Singer Gülşen, who was investigated for "inciting the public to hatred and enmity or humiliating", was arrested by the court she was brought to last Thursday evening, for the words she said towards the imam hatip high school students at her concert four months ago.

Her lawyer Emek Emre objected to the detention of Gülşen, who was taken to Bakırköy Women's Closed Prison. Evaluating the request, the court gave a decision to release Gülşen on the condition that she not leave the residence.

The second objection to the house arrest of pop singer Gülşen, whose first application was rejected by her lawyer Emek Emre, was accepted by the High Criminal Court. Gülşen's house arrest order was lifted.
