39-year-old Adam Mosseri, who has been working for Facebook since 2008 and is the founder and CEO of Instagram, now affiliated with Meta, announced the innovations that will come to the platform with his social media posts.
Content producers using Instagram will no longer have to publish their posts directly.
'Content' scheduling, which was previously performed with 3rd party applications, can now be done through the application.
CONTENT PLANNING FEATURE
Users logged into Instagram; will be able to schedule photos or videos to be shared at a later date (up to 75 days) after clicking 'advanced options'.
Innovations in Instagram are not limited to this.
NEW IGTV WEB INTERFACE
Apart from Instagram's phone app, the Web app has also been updated.
Users entering the IG Web; will benefit from the new interface designed to be faster and easier.
