On the occasion of "November 24 Teachers' Day", which is the day when the great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk accepted the title of Head Teacher of National Schools, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel celebrated this special day of all teachers who devotedly perform their duties in every corner of the country.

In his exponential message, he used the following expressions:

“Teaching is undoubtedly one of the professions that requires the most patience, tolerance and sacrifice. A teacher who chooses this profession should adopt Atatürk's Principles and Revolutions, be faithful to his country, and carefully protect our moral and cultural values.

Teachers are a beacon of hope for our children and our future. Apart from the family environment, the most important environment where a child should be happy and peaceful is the school and the most important individual that he can take as an example is his teacher. In this respect, the place of the teacher, who protects and watches over a child as much as his family, is very special.

Especially today, our children need more protection against many dangers. As in the rest of the world, there are bad habits such as drugs, alcohol and cigarette use that threaten our youth, and addictions that arise with the spread of technology. I believe that it is only possible for young generations to stay away from all this through education, and that the biggest task falls to teachers, just as we all have a duty to fight all bad habits.

As the government, steps have been taken to quickly eliminate infrastructure deficiencies in accordance with today's needs and conditions for structuring the education system. Carrying out and finalizing studies in this direction is among the most basic policies and objectives of our government in the upcoming period.

With these feelings and thoughts, I congratulate this special day of all our teachers with my sincere feelings and offer love and respect.”
