Sefer Buğra Altundağ, 21, who was considered a suspect in the murder of 16-year-old Zehie Helin Reessur, an 11th grade student at Famagusta Vocational High School, was arrested and brought before the Pier Court.

In his sworn statement to the court, the investigating officer of the murder, Assistant Inspector Erdim Kara, reiterated that the incident took place between 01:59 and 02:12 on January 25, and conveyed the details of how the suspect killed the victim in a vehicle with license plate LM 560 at the construction site of a company in Iskele, Long Beach.

Explaining that the incident covered the crimes of "committal homicide", "murder", "grave damage" and "serious beating", Kara said that the suspect fled the scene after killing Zehie Helin Reessur, left the vehicle in the military zone in Derinya, left some of his clothes, He also said he tried to burn it.

Uzkan stated that they wanted the suspect to receive the punishment he deserved and called on the lawmakers to have the 'Domestic Violence Law', which has been waiting for years, come out as soon as possible.
