Smoking rate among 15-16 year olds in Southern Cyprus is 14 percent.
According to the data of the Unit for Combating Addictions operating in Southern Cyprus, the rate of smoking among 15-16 year olds is 14%.
Fileleftheros and other newspapers included data on smoking ages, according to data from the Addiction Control Unit.
While the newspaper stated that the number of students smoking electronic cigarettes is 4.5 percent, it wrote that 1 out of every 5 students tried hookah in the last month.
On the other hand, Alithia newspaper stated that the Anti-Addiction Unit is involved in the smoke-free campaign in Europe.
