Metin Feyzioğlu: Evacuation of children in the wreckage of the destroyed hotel has begun

Metin Feyzioğlu, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Nicosia, announced on his personal social media account that the evacuation of the children trapped in the wreckage of the destroyed hotel in Adıyaman has begun, and that the TRNC Gaziantep Consul is with the wreckage and new teams will come to help.

Feyzioğlu stated that the Beşparmak ship departed from Kyrenia with Civil Defense teams and vehicles at 12.30, and stated that Turkish Airlines (THY) would take search and rescue teams from Ercan Airport to Gaziantep.

Making a statement on his social media account, Feyzioğlu added that the search and rescue team and aid materials will go to Adıyaman at 14.30 with Pegasus Airlines.
