The Haravgi newspaper wrote that the Maraş exhibition in the European Parliament was opened. The newspaper wrote that the photography exhibition was opened under the auspices of AKEL European Parliament member Yorgos Yeorgiu and in collaboration with the so-called "Maraş Municipality", under the title "Together for our common future and our common homeland".

According to the news, AKEL EP member Yorgos Yeorgiu, who spoke at the opening of the exhibition, said that the exhibition; He stated that it reveals "how a city was and what it is now".

Saying that "Maraş" lives in their hearts, Yeorgiu argued that the photography exhibition is a way to complain about Turkey's illegal activities, to send the message that division is not an option for the Cypriot people.

In her speech, Yeorgiu also thanked the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, Greek EP members, and the Southern Cyprus representation in Brussels, who supported the opening of the exhibition.

According to the news, European Commission Vice President Margaritis Schinas, EU Health and Safety Commissioner Stella Kiriakidu, and all Greek MEPs in the European Parliament were present at the opening of the exhibition.
