Under the auspices of the Prime Ministry, Mevlid-i Sharif was recited in the courtyard of the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque for the citizens who lost their lives in the earthquake disaster in Turkey.

Under the auspices of the Prime Ministry, under the coordination of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, Mevlid-i Şerif was read in the courtyard of the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque for the TRNC citizens who lost their lives in the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes on February 6.

Mevlid-i Şerif and the Qur'an, Ankara University Faculty of Theology, Turkish Religious Music Lecturer from Turkey. Hafız Fatih Koca, Hagia Sophia Mosque Imam-Orator Hafız Ferruh Mustuer, Hagia Sophia Mosque Chief Muzezini Hafız Mehmet Hadi Duran, Eminönü New Mosque Imam Preacher Hafız Emrullah Akbaş and Marmara University Qur'an Education Center Director Hafız Mustafa Yaşar.

The names of 49 citizens were read in the mawlid organized on the occasion of the 40th day of the Champion Angels volleyball group and other citizens who lost their lives in the earthquakes.

Mevlid-i Şerifi, President Ersin Tatar and his wife Sibel Tatar, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel and his wife Zerrin Üstel, Turkey's Ambassador to Nicosia Metin Feyzioğlu, Cyprus Turkish Peace Forces Commander Major General Sezai Öztürk, Security Forces Commander Major General Zorlu Topaloğlu, Deputy Prime Minister, Tourism Culture Youth and Environment Minister Fikri Ataoğlu listened to many ministers, deputies, military and civil officials, families and other relatives of those who lost their lives in the earthquake and citizens.

Donuts were also distributed to those who lost their lives during the mawlid.
