The 17th day of the action initiated by the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority Employees Union (EL-SEN) against the Draft Public Procurement (Amendment) Law has been entered.

EL-SEN President Çağlayan Cesurer participated in the "Sabahın Kahvesi" program broadcast on Kanal Sim and made statements about the Teknecik Power Plant, which could not produce enough due to a malfunction.

Çağlayan Cesurer, who made special statements about bringing AKSA technicians to the Teknecik Power Plant, which Cyprus Post brought to the agenda, announced that AKSA technicians stopped working this morning and withdrew. Cesurer emphasized that there was no pure water left in the institution with the work of the technicians, and announced that the country would be plunged into darkness within a few hours and production would stop completely. Noting that the Teknecik Power Plant is giving SOS at the moment, Cesurer said, "The whole country will be plunged into darkness."
