Turkey leased with TURKPA’s decision to grant "Observer" status to KKTC assembly
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased that the Assembly of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has been accepted as an "observer" member at the 12th General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic Council.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its great satisfaction with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Assembly being accepted as an "observer" member at the 12th General Assembly of the Turkic Council Parliamentary Assembly (TURKPA), according to a written statement issued yesterday.
The statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the delight of Turkey with the decision to grant observer membership to the TRNC Assembly at the TURKPA 12th General Assembly hosted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
The announcement further congratulated TURKPA member countries for contributing to strengthening the relationship between the TRNC and Turkic states and wished that the decision would be beneficial to the TRNC and the entire Turkish world.
The TRNC Assembly became an observer member of TURKPA with a unanimous decision taken at the TURKPA Council held in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on Thursday.
