President Erdogan casts his vote in Istanbul

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has cast his vote for the Presidential and 28th Parliamentary Elections. Accompanied by his wife, Emine Erdogan, the President left his residence in Uskudar Kısıklı and arrived at Saffet Cebi Middle School at 11:40 am.

Upon his arrival, Erdogan was welcomed by Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, Uskudar Mayor Hilmi Turkmen, AK Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe, and other officials. The President was also greeted with affectionate displays of support from the large crowd of citizens gathered in the schoolyard.

President Erdogan and his wife stood in line in front of the classroom where ballot box "3279" was located. They shook hands with the polling officials and provided their IDs for verification.

After entering the voting booth, the President and his wife cast their ballots and then placed them in the ballot box. They also signed and submitted the stamp used to seal the ballot envelope.

A total of 380 voters are expected to cast their ballots at ballot box "3279," where President Erdogan voted. The President and his wife are listed as voter number 175 and 174, respectively, on the voter list.
