Alithia and other newspapers wrote that the number of law firms representing Russian businessmen in Southern Cyprus, for which the USA and England demanded sanctions for the invasion of Ukraine, is 36.
The newspaper stated that these offices are under investigation by the Union of Greek Cypriot Bar Associations, while the Registrar of Greek Companies continues its investigations on companies that cooperate or partner with the sanctioned businessmen, and that some companies or their partners have started to be excluded from sanctions after the examinations.
