PM Üstel, announces launch of mass social housing construction campaign

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel has announced the initiation of a "Mass Social Housing Construction Initiative" across all regions of the country, stating, "Within a period of 3 years, we are making thousands of young people homeowners."

Following a Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel held a press conference alongside Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı, and the President of the Cyprus Turkish Contractors Union, Cafer Gürcafer. During the press conference, social housing projects were discussed, and a protocol was signed with the Contractors Union.

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel expressed that the selection of project locations will be planned within 3 months after the election, and he wished the initiative success for the country.

Üstel also mentioned that due to the increase in exchange rates, citizens who face difficulties in repaying their foreign currency loans will have their debts restructured and installment amounts reduced. He stated that they have instructed the Central Bank accordingly and said, "Citizens who fall within this scope can apply to their banks to benefit from this right we have brought."

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel stated that the government has initiated work to complete the necessary structural reforms to overcome the accumulated problems of the country and to implement major projects needed by the people.
