KTÖS Secretary-General Burak Maviş mentioned in a written statement that the Education Ministry did not provide sufficient support to schools and teachers in many aspects. He also claimed that the Ministry has been trying to change the real agenda of education by creating artificial agendas instead of making the real problems of schools the focus of public attention.

The list of schools to go on a strike tomorrow are as follows: Alaniçi Primary School, Arabahmet Primary School, Değirmenlik Primary School, Karakol Primary School, Konuklar Primary School, Lefke İstiklal Primary School, Mormenekşe Primary School, Paşaköy Eşref Bitlis Primary School, Şht. Tuncer Primary School, Yeni Erenköy Primary School, Yeniboğaziçi Primary School and Zümrütköy Primary School.

Moreover, KTÖS will hold a press conference titled "School Security, Problems and Solution Suggestions" in front of Değirmenlik Primary School at 11 am tomorrow.
