The number of registered voters in foreign countries and border gates who have cast their votes in the Turkish presidential election has exceeded 1.8 million. As of 10:00 am today, a total of 1,895,430 voters have cast their votes in embassies and customs. The first round of voting took place on May 14, with a total of 1,839,470 voters going to the polls. Voting for the second round, which is to be held on May 28th, ended yesterday for those registered to vote abroad. However, voting at customs will continue until Sunday, May 28, at 5:00 pm.

It should be noted that the overseas vote has been a significant component of Turkish elections, with more than three million people voting from abroad in the 2018 presidential election.
