3 Imported Food Products Found with Excessive Pesticide Residue in Inspection
The Agriculture Department has announced that three out of 27 imported food products were found to have excessive pesticide residues in their inspection results.
The Agriculture Department has released the food inspection results covering the period from 19-25 May. According to the results, three out of 27 imported food products were found to have excessive pesticide residues. Excessive pesticide residue was detected in the imported Golden apples brought by SVS Tic. Ltd. and Onbaşı Ltd. and in the imported cherry tomatoes brought by SVS Ltd.
None of the four locally sourced products tested had excessive pesticide residue, and all samples were clean from excessive pesticide use.
