Kıbrıs Postası awarded "best newspaper" at 3rd Golden Caretta Life and Tourism Awards

Kıbrıs Postası, sister newspaper of Cyprus Mirror and the first online newspaper in Northern Cyprus, has been awarded "best newspaper" at the "3rd Golden Caretta Life and Tourism Awards of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus."

The awards ceremony, which brought together business, art, sports, society, protocol, media, and press organizations, was held in collaboration with the Respected Media and Business People's Association. The event was attended by political figures such as Deputy Prime Minister and Tourism, Environment and Culture Minister Fikri Ataoğlu, Speaker of Parliament Zorlu Töre, and Labour and Social Security Minister Hasan Taçoy, as well as CTP MP Fikri Toros. In addition, many famous artists from Turkey also attended the ceremony.

In an emotional moment of the night, an award was presented to the Champion Angels Association, in memory of those who lost their lives in the Adıyaman İsias hotel due to the Kahramanmaraş earthquake on February 6th. Association President Ruşen Karakaya's speech received a standing ovation.

Kıbrıs Postası, which has been the leader in its sector with the slogan "Don't Leave Today's News for Tomorrow" for 23 years, received the "best newspaper" award at the event.

Canan Onurer, the Digital Publications Coordinator of Kıbrıs Postası, who accepted the award on behalf of the newspaper, highlighted the importance of the media, especially in light of recent events. She stated that Kıbrıs Postası has been providing readers with successful and quality service for 22 years with a great team behind it. Onurer received the award on behalf of all press employees, especially Kıbrıs Postası's employees.

Over 55 awards were presented during the ceremony, with valuable Cypriot and Turkish actors, athletes, and artists among the guests.
