In response to allegations of a gas shortage in Northern Cyprus, Minister Amcaoğlu shared information obtained from the Cyprus Turkish Petroleum Corporation through the ministry's press office. He stated that two ships would arrive in the country between June 5th and June 15th, and there would be no problems with LPG supply. The minister also announced that 1,750 tons of LPG would arrive with the first ship and 3,500 tons with the second, and that 325 tons of LPG were already present in the company's depots.

Minister Amcaoğlu's statement comes amid reports of increased demand and a perceived gas shortage in the market. He assured the public that there is sufficient gas in stock, with the two upcoming shipments expected to replenish any potential supply gaps.

The authorities responsible for the country's energy and economy have taken precautions to ensure a stable supply of gas, as it is a vital commodity that is regularly used for cooking and heating in households, as well as in the transportation and manufacturing sectors.
