Driver loses control in Girne, crashes into a house, injuring 5 people

According to a statement by the Police Press Bureau, a 26-year-old driver named Mustafa Kaymak was under the influence of alcohol with 118 milligrams while driving a salon car with license plate HJ 060 towards the west on Naci Talat Street in Girne at around 03:00 today.

According to a statement by the Police Press Bureau, a 26-year-old driver named Mustafa Kaymak was under the influence of alcohol with 118 milligrams while driving a salon car with license plate HJ 060 towards the west on Naci Talat Street in Girne at around 03:00 today. As he turned right onto Çelebi Street located on the right side of the road, he lost control of the car due to his carelessness and collided with a stone wall surrounding a residence. The collision caused the HJ 060 to continue moving, hitting a fence and a pine tree in the garden of the house.

After receiving medical treatment at Girne Dr. Akçiçek State Hospital, the injured car driver Mustafa Kaymak was released. However, the four passengers in the car, identified as 26-year-old Mehmet Aydıncılar, 27-year-old Muhammet Bal, 21-year-old Elif Seven, and 21-year-old Melisa Kaya, were transferred to Lefkoşa Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital for treatment and observation.

The driver of the car, Mustafa Kaymak, was arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
