The election process continues for the by-elections to be held on June 25. Following the finalization of the candidates yesterday, the propaganda period has started today.

The process for the Parliamentary and Local Government By-Elections to be held on Sunday, June 25, continues in Northern Cyprus. Thirteen candidates are competing for the parliamentary elections, six from political parties and seven independents. The name of Tacan Reynar, the TDP candidate whose candidacy was rejected by the Supreme Electoral Council (YSK), will be included on the ballot papers due to legal requirements.

To determine the order that candidates will use during their election campaign, a name drawing process will be held today at 2:00 pm in the Constitutional Court Hall.

The Supreme Electoral Council (YSK) announced the final candidates yesterday. The candidacy of Sami Özuslu (CTP), Ali Başman (UBP), Serhan Aktunç (DP), Tacan Reynar (TDP), Figen Yaman Lesinger (YDP), Umut Ersoy (Bağımsızlık Yolu), and independents Çetin Sadeli, Mert Taşkın, Talip Sancar, Nazım Özsever, Meriç Erülkü, Alper Özsakınç, and Abdullah Korkmazhan is now finalized for the parliamentary elections.
