According to the YSK's evaluation, Reynar did not meet the requirement of having permanent residency in Northern Cyprus for at least three years. This means that while Reynar's name will still appear on the ballot papers due to legal requirements, he is no longer a candidate for the elections.

Thirteen candidates are running in the by-elections, with six representing political parties and seven running independently. The propaganda period for the elections began on June 4th and continues until June 23rd, with the elections set to take place on June 25th.

Reynar expressed disappointment regarding the YSK's decision on social media and stated that he would provide a more detailed statement later. It is essential for voters to participate in democracy and exercise their right to vote in the upcoming parliamentary by-elections in Northern Cyprus.
