Deadly brawl in Ipsona leaves two dead
In the early hours of yesterday morning, a violent altercation erupted at a local pub in Ipsona, a district in Limassol, resulting in the tragic loss of two lives.
Marios Onisiforu, 44, was fatally stabbed during the incident, while Mihalakis Mihail, 51, succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The victims tragically lost their lives while attempting to aid their friends involved in the brawl. Reports suggest that the dispute leading to the altercation stemmed from a disagreement among the assailants.
According to sources, two individuals, aged 49 and 54, who were apprehended following the incident, are expected to remain in custody for eight days. It has been reported by Alithia newspaper that a 43-year-old individual was the intended target of the attack but only sustained minor injuries.
