According to an article in Alithia newspaper, Kullas, the spokesperson for the DISY party in Southern Cyprus, also claimed that the will of the Greek Cypriot side to solve the Cyprus problem has never disappeared. He emphasized that every person who has served as the President of the Republic of Cyprus has considered the resolution of the Cyprus problem as a top priority, and the efforts made from time to time should be acknowledged as aiming for this goal.

Regarding the question of whether the Greek Cypriot side has made mistakes, Kullas admitted, "Of course, we cannot claim to be without fault." He stated that the will of the Greek Cypriot side for a solution exists now, as it did in the past, while also arguing that the resolution of the problem is not solely within their control. Kullas pointed out that factors such as the international environment, the political conjuncture of each period, and primarily the presence of Turkey pose challenges. He mentioned that they could refer to reasons that have not led to the resolution of the Cyprus problem so far, but what matters is how they will move forward to avoid repeating past mistakes.

When asked about the existence of hope for a viable solution, Kullas reiterated the claim that the will of the Greek Cypriot side to resolve the Cyprus problem has never disappeared. He argued that this will is accompanied by the hope that a viable solution based on the agreed settlement for the Cyprus problem, within the framework set by Guterres and the UN resolutions, is possible. Kullas stated that this is the direction and goal they are working towards, and the DISY party has launched a campaign across Southern Cyprus to inform the public about the content of the solution.

Furthermore, Kullas claimed that in order to achieve the desired solution, Turkey must work constructively as a concerned party and also abandon its divisive rhetoric and illegal activities in the occupied territories. He added that, from their perspective, they have not given up on the struggle for freedom and the reunification of their homeland.
